Pelikan 1000 Years of Austria Limited Edition Fountain Pen (Jahre Osterreich)

Description

The pen is in excellent condition and it still has the factory stickers, comes with original outer box, inner box and documents. The pen has been inked, and comes equipped with an 18c gold, medium size nib.

1000 Years of Austria(1996) Pelikan produced this Limited Edition to commemorate Austria’s 1000th Jubilee in 1996. The design was, naturally, entrusted to an Austrian national – Herr Professor Gustav Peichl, an esteemed architect.

The finished pen was presented to an audience of 100 special guests in the Emperor’s Pavilion, located in Schnbrunn’s Zoological Garden, Vienna. 700 of the pens were supplied to Austria, with another 150 to Germany, leaving just 150 going to the rest of the world.
