Featuring a slide-lock mechanism, a corrosion-resistant VG-10 stainless steel blade, fully-profiled scales and a deep-carry, reversible pocket clip, the Carter is the most advanced knife from The James Brand. It’s slim and lightweight, but fully capable in any environment.

The slide-lock is secure, easy to understand and ambidextrous. Its designed for use with one hand, and has been a staple mechanism of everyday carry knives for a long time.

The Japanese-made VG-10 stainless steel blade has great edge-retention and corrosion resistance. VG-10 was designed to handle the abuse of the culinary world, but because of its amazing characteristics, its found a home in the world of everyday carry.

The opening style uses a symmetrical thumb-disc on top of the blade, making for easy, affirmative one-handed opening. The deep-carry pocket is easily reversible (using a Torx T6, not included).
